Rachael Earley, (cellist)

A Cincinnati native, Rachael is a lifelong cellist. Beginning with Suzuki instruction at the age of three, she had a rich upbringing of high quality musical involvement. Before entering college, she played in Cincinnati Junior Strings and the Cincinnati Symphony Youth Orchestra, traveled internationally with two youth orchestras, was principal cellist of the Southwest Regional and Ohio All State Orchestras, was a member of the CCM Prep Department’s Starling Cello Choir, and played in numerous quartets and trios. She attended undergraduate school at Bowling Green State University, studying under Alan Smith and playing in the Bowling Green Philharmonia. As an adult, she balances a career as a high school Spanish teacher with her love of music and performing, playing professionally in the Cincinnati and Dayton areas. She has been a cellist with the Clermont Philharmonic Orchestra, the Lebanon Symphony Orchestra, and currently plays with the Mason Symphony Orchestra.
